AYPF’s 25th Anniversary Celebration

AYPF’s 25th Anniversary Celebration

On Tuesday, October 23, 2018 the American Youth Policy Forum (AYPF) celebrated its 25th Anniversary at the EducationCounsel’s offices in Washington, D.C.

The celebration provided an opportunity for many of our long time funders, partners, and supporters to mingle, reminisce, and celebrate with us. During the event, we looked back on 25 years of educating, informing, and engaging thousands of policymakers and our role in assisting them in the implementation of policies that support traditionally underserved youth.

In addition, we were very excited to welcome and hear from the following renowned educational policy experts: Karen Pittman, President and CEO, Forum for Youth Investment, Anthony Carnevale, Director, Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce, and Andrew Rotherham, Co-Founder and Partner, Bellwether Education Partners, during a moderated panel discussion entitled Leading Education, Youth, & Workforce Policy into the Future.

Check out the “Celebrating 25 Years” slide show presentation below or head over to our Celebrating 25 Years webpage to learn more about the impact AYPF has made since our inception.
