Julia Boland, YPC

Julia Boland spent the first 18 years of her life in and out of foster homes, group homes, and surviving two failed adoptions. She felt a calling to help other youth marginalized by systemic inequities to navigate the system and find their paths.

Using her own lived experience, she advocates for better mental health services as well as accessible resources for housing, education, and employment.

Julia is double majoring in psychology and social work while minoring in business management. Her hope is to create a physical and virtual safe place for youth marginalized by systemic inequities that provides resources, mental health support, and space to socialize with peers in similar situations.
