Description of Organization

Connect for Kids makes the best use of communications technologies and strategies to give adults – parents, grandparents, guardians, educators, advocates, policymakers, elected officials and others – the tools and information they need to work on behalf of children, youth and families. Through policy communications support to the field of child and youth advocates, e-newsletters and the connectforkids.org website, Connect for Kids:

  • Informs people about children's status in the community, state and nation;
  • Highlights and supports the work of individuals and organizations that serve children, youth and families;
  • Develops communications tools and strategies to help people address specific issues;
  • Connects people to groups and organizations that act on behalf of kids;
  • Encourages people and elected officials to vote with children in mind.
