Our Staff

Iris Bond Gill, Senior Program Associate, joined the American Youth Policy Forum in 2005. She oversees field trips and speaker forums on youth policy issues with a focus on high school reform. Ms. Gill has a background in education, program development, and management consulting. From 2003-2005, she worked at the Alliance for Excellent Education, where she developed and led an adolescent literacy policy initiative, which helped increase national attention on the literacy needs of older youth. Prior to that, she was a management consultant in the public sector practice of Deloitte Consulting. Gill has written numerous policy briefs and has served as a peer reviewer and consultant to several national education initiatives. She began her career in New Orleans, Louisiana as a seventh grade teacher and member of Teach For America. Ms. Gill holds a Bachelor's degree from Arizona State University and a Master's degree in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University.
